In the Burj Khalifa, there are up to 30,000 residences distributed through at least 19 residential towers, including nine hotels, a shopping mall, and an artificial lake.

The construction of this building was completed in the year 2014 starting from 2006, making it an overall time of 8 years of its construction. Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower
The Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower is the third tallest building in the world. It is also known as the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, and it’s located in Saudi Arabia. It has a height of 1,972 feet (601 m) and a total of 120 floors and was completed in the year 2012.
Ping An Finance Centre
This is the fourth tallest building in the world, having a total of 115 stories and a height of 1,965 feet (599 m). The Ping An International Finance Centre is located in Shenzhen, China. The building construction began in 2015 and finished in 2017. The plan for the building design to include an antenna was called off due to flight interference.
Lotte World Tower
This building is located in Seoul, South Korea. It’s the fifth tallest building in the world, having a height of 1,819 feet (554.5 m). This building construction was completed in the year 2016 beginning in 2011. The Lotte World Tower contains 123 floors, having six of them underground.
One World Trade Centre
The sixth on the list is the One World Trade Centre, being the tallest building both in New York and in the United States, as well as the whole Western Hemisphere. While the Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre features 111 floors, the Tianjin CFT Finance Centre has 98 floors. The construction of the Chow Tai Fook (CTF) tower was completed in 2018, started in 2013. The building also features mixed-use, i.e., different activities going on in the building.
China Zun was built in Beijing. Its construction was completed in the year 2018. The building has 108 stories and a height of 1,667 feet (528 m). This structure is considered as the Central Business District hub of Beijing, and the CITIC has the building under development.
As the name would imply, this building features a total of one hundred and one floors and has a height of 1,667 feet (508 m), which makes it one of the tallest buildings in the world today. The construction of this building caused some disturbance because of its revolutionary design as at the time it was completed in 2004. It kept the title of the tallest building in the world for six years before the Burj Khalifa in Dubai surpassed it. The Taipei 101 is renowned for its unmatched green-blue hue, and it is the main tourist attraction in Taipei till date.
Shanghai World Financial Centre
In the year 2008, the Shanghai World Financial Centre was finished, standing at 1,614 feet (492 m) with 101 stories. This building is an international trade and financial centre, situated in the Skyscraper-Laden Pudong district of Shanghai.
The International Commerce Centre
The International Commerce Centre (ICC) of the West Kowloon in Hong Kong has a height of 1,588 feet (484 m) and a total of 118 floors. The commercial architectural design was completed in the year 2010, and as at that time, it held the position of being the third tallest building in Asia and the fourth in the world. Right now it stands as the tallest building in the whole of Hong Kong.
The Lakhta Centre
The Lakhta Centre is situated in Saint Petersburg of Russia, in the geographical region of Lakhta. It is 1,516 feet (462 m) tall and has 87 floors in it. The construction of the building started in October 2012 and was completed in 2018, making it a total of six years of its construction. It stands right now as the thirteenth tallest building in the world and the second tallest structure in Europe and Russia, surpassed by the Ostankino Tower located in Moscow.
The construction of this super-tall was completed in 2018, located in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. The design was carried by a consulting firm known as Atkins; it is a British engineering company. Vinhomes is the major developer and investor of the project. They are the largest of the country’s real-estate companies. The mixed-use Landmark 81 has a height of 1,513 feet (461.2 m) with 81 floors, now standing as the fourteenth tallest building in the world.
Changsha IFS Tower T1
The construction of the Changsha IFS Tower T1 began in 2013 through 2017, summing to four years of its construction. The twin-tower construction is situated in Changsha, Hunan of China. The architectural design is meant to have a feature of linking underground networks, which is one of its uniqueness. The building is 1,482.9 feet (452 m) high and has 95 occupiable floors in it.
Petronas Towers 1 & 2
By the ranking and definition of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, abbreviated as CTBUH, the twin towers kept the of being the tallest buildings in the world from the year 1998 through 2004 and till date they are still the highest twin towers in the world. The tube-like architectural design of the Petronas Towers, which was considered as a common event was made by Fazlur Rahman Khan. They both contain 88 floors and have a height of 1,483 feet (451.9 m). The Petronas Towers are located in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. The construction of the Petronas Towers started in March 1993 and was completed in March 1996, making it three years of their construction.
The Exchange 106 was formerly known as Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) signature Tower. The construction of this building was done in Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia. The building has a total height of 1,483 feet (451.9 m) with 106 occupiable floors, making it the seventeenth tallest building in the world. The construction of the building was completed in 2018.
The Zifeng Tower was formerly known as Nanjing Greenland Financial Centre. It is a mixed-use skyscraper with 66 floors and a height of 1,480 feet (450 m). The Constructors began the structure in May 2005, completed it in September 2010 and was opened in December 2010. The Zifeng Tower is situated in the Gulou District of Nanjing, China.
Suzhou International Financial Square
The Suzhou International Financial Square located in Suzhou's Industrial Park; Jiangsu of China is a 92-story building having a height of 1,476 feet (450 m). The construction of this multi-purpose structure was completed in the year 2017. The inclusion of the offices, hotels, and apartments in the building makes it a multi-purpose.
In the year 1973, the radiant Willis Tower commonly known as the Sears Tower was completely constructed. It is a building of height 1,450 feet (442.1 m) and occupiable floors of 108. The building surpasses the World Trade Centre located in New York. As of the time the Willis Tower was completed, it was recognized as the tallest building in the world and kept that title for almost 25 years. At a time it happened to be about the tallest building in the whole Western Hemisphere until the construction of the World Trade Centre site was completed. The architectural design of the Willis Tower is the renowned Fazlur Rahman Khan. The Willis Tower constructed in Chicago, United States.
